About This Place

Nestled in the heart of downtown Biddeford, Coco Bar and Grill offers an authentic Mexican dining experience that beautifully marries vibrant flavors with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. This standout Mexican restaurant delights guests with a thoughtfully curated menu featuring both classic favorites and creative twists that cater to any craving.

From the very first bite, it’s clear that freshness and quality are at the forefront of Coco Bar and Grill’s kitchen. The Burrito Biddo and Burrito Tomatillo are firm favorites, packed with tender grilled chicken, flavorful rice, beans, and melted cheese, all elevated by rich, smoky tomatillo or creamy chipotle salsa toppings. For those who prefer handheld eats, the menu bursts with options like street tacos—including Coco and Chorizo Tacos—succulent chicken fajitas, and the unique Quesabirria, where juicy birria meets crisp tortillas, laced with fresh cilantro and lime for a perfect bite every time.

Coco’s Quesadilla stands out as a customizable delight, offering a range of protein options such as pollo, carnitas, asada, or sautéed veggies, all served with crisp lettuce, tangy sour cream, and zingy pico de gallo. The BBQ Quesadilla adds a southern flare with tender pulled pork draped in BBQ sauce, complemented by mango pico and a chipotle mayo that keeps you coming back for more. Seafood lovers will appreciate the Grilled Shrimp Burrito and the sweet and sour shrimp quesadilla—both packing layers of bold, satisfying flavors.

Complement your meal with traditional Mexican refreshments like creamy horchata, zesty house margaritas (ID required), or the refreshing mojito, each crafted to balance and amplify the dish’s vibrant spices. The bottled Mexican Coca Cola, made with pure cane sugar, offers an authentic taste that transports you straight to the heart of Mexico.

The atmosphere at Coco Bar and Grill perfectly matches its menu: relaxed, inviting, and peppered with charming décor that brings a cozy yet lively vibe to 11 Adams Street. Whether you’re grabbing a to-go order or settling in for a family meal, the attentive service and warm ambiance make every visit enjoyable. Customers frequently praise the freshness of the cuisine, noting that every dish tastes made-to-order rather than canned or pre-packaged. One guest highlights the subtle touches like spring onions lightly scattered on steak and shredded lettuce, bringing fresh complexity to the flavors.

Families and groups have found comfort here, as servers are genuinely accommodating, ensuring kids’ requests and special needs are met with care, leaving everyone happily satisfied with generous portions and leftovers to spare. Even on busy Friday nights with a little wait, the buzz around the bar and the authentic margaritas keep spirits high and the experience memorable.

For a taste of Mexico’s rich culinary tapestry served with warmth and personality, Coco Bar and Grill is a must-visit destination in Biddeford. Whether savoring handheld burritos packed with vibrant fillings or indulging in a perfectly balanced cocktail, you’ll leave feeling nourished, delighted, and eager to return.

Excellent food & service! Food is fresh and doesn’t taste like everything comes from a can like other Mexican places.

This place has pretty authentic food and killer drinks. They do not offer plates of food like rice and beans with a meat of your choice. They offer mostly handheld things like quesadillas fajitas...I got a two handed burrito and papas locas and they were both very good. The service was ok a little slow on getting our drinks I would have ordered at least one more if the server has come back more often, but overall I would recommend eating here.

We always love ordering Coco to go. Last night we decided to eat in with the kids- GREAT decision! The waiter was attentive and accommodated our kids requests. We all left happy and full, with plenty of leftovers.

This is such a cool spot in downtown Biddo. The interior decor is very cutesy, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Came on a Friday night with my friend, there’s a few minutes wait time on the tables in the evening so we decided to sit at the bar. It was a great time, we enjoyed the food and drinks which were absolutely delicious. The margaritas are the real deal, my burrito was bomb too. Can’t wait for another visit here.

The food is amazing! Great authentic taste, large portions and not a lot of fillers. My burrito was full of meat and delicious. My mom had the shrimp quesadilla and it was the same. The drink I had was a mix of a mojito and margarita……. To die for! Service was impressive and the prices were extremely fair. A definite!

This place was super cute, and the food was great. It’s probably the best Mexican place in the area. My friend and I both got burritos. Hers was the handheld kind, mine was not. They were both really good.
